What Is Women In Energy
Women in Energy is a national association founded by established members of the oil and energy industries with years of experience under their belts. Their goal it is to create a community for energy professionals focused on education, mentorship, and growth. They offer advancement tools for women currently working in the energy industry and promote opportunities for future careers in the field. Membership is available for individuals (women and men) and corporations.
What’s Happening with Women In Energy?
Women in Energy is hosting a very special event on Tuesday, August 14th from 6-8 p.m. The event will feature our guest speaker, Judaline Cassidy, tradeswoman and Founder/Director of Tools and Tiaras – an organization committed to advancing the interest of young girls and women who want to pursue non-traditional careers. Judaline will be sharing her experiences in overcoming discrimination in the workplace, as well as gaining equal pay and access to the plumbers union. She will also discuss how she is introducing young women and girls to the trades.
Networking, drinks and light snacks will precede the presentation – also enrollment into the Women in Energy association will be available throughout the evening. Click here to learn more or to register for this special event.
